VANCOUVER PRIDE

Yes folks and you know it! Vancouver Pride is coming up soon, and we Pride UBC will be part of this parade! However, we will be joined by other, lovely groups as well, so we are going as one large, UBC group :) From what I understand, we have an AMS truck and are doing things with it...as I get more details I will post them. Or, you have the option of going to Pride UBC Summer Snack (which I will talk about in the next point) and do some Parade Planning!!!! SPACED OUT

Hey there everyone!

Guess what? Pride UBC is putting on another dance party extravaganza! Excited? So are we!

Doesn't matter if you are lord of the Queers, a fabulous ally or you just want to get down with your bad self on the dance floor, come SPACE OUT with Pride UBC January 28th in the Sub!

The best part? There's no cover and everyone gets a free drink from our Italian soda bar just for attending! Dress up in your best retro-futuristic duds and get a second drink free! There will be delicious sushi from the Honor Roll, scrumptious sandwiches and snacks for all, and after you chow down, you better be ready to Space Out on the dance floor because DJ T-Swizzle and Shopaholique will be laying down the jams!

VAGASQUERADE ~ The Second-Chance Halloween Party!

This upcoming Friday, December 3rd is...
VAGASQUERADE! The Second-Chance Halloween party!

Did you not get a chance to be what you wanted to be for Halloween? Didn't have the time? Or the ideas? Came up with a fantastic Halloween costume idea last year then forgotten about it this year... until you remembered AFTER Halloween? 

 
Well, here's your chance to dress up in that AMAZING costume sooner than next year! Invite everybody! It's bound to be a BLAST! ...and all in the name of fundraising the Fight Against Violence Against Women!
 
WHEN: Friday, December 3 from 7pm- 12am
WHERE: SUB rooms 207/209
HOW: A mere $3 admission AND it's an all-ages benefit dance!
 
For those of you who don't always feel like dancing, there will also be V-Day & Pride UBC merchandise, as well as a Kissing Booth, an arts+crafts table, and games!
