You’re tied to the person spooning you from behind, and they’re
wrapped around you. Are you the one who gets tied, or does the tying?

Maybe you find yourself trapped between labels, confined within
categories. The word GAY sticks to you like gum.

Or else you’ve learned to break ties. Are they annoying like spider
webs? Debilitating like handcuffs? Exciting like leather?

Without them, would you simply float away?

This year, the Pride Ubyssey’s TIED UP edition wants to hear about
your ties—your (least) favourites, the ones you broke accidentally, or
the embarrassing ones at the back of your closet.

Please submit WRITINGS (articles, editorials, non-fiction, fiction,
poetry, info-bits) and ARTWORK (photography, drawings, cartoons,
doodles) no later than Sunday, January 20th to cam.lavender@gmail.com.

Then look out for the issue on its release date—Friday, Febuary 8th.
