Why UBC Needs Feminism

UBC, why do you need feminism? Maybe you’re tired of being told what “being a man” or “being a woman” means by people who don’t care about “being you”. Maybe you're tired of being scared of sexual assault. Maybe you're tired of people being scared of you. Maybe you want to be a parent, but on your own terms. Maybe you want your children to grow up in a world that’s a little better than the one we have now. UBC needs feminism. We want you to tell us why.

If you've seen some of the "I Need Feminism Because..." photo campaigns before, you probably know what's coming. If not, here's a quick run down. We'll be outside Koerner Plaza on Saturday and Sunday (March 2nd and 3rd) from noon to 4 PM with a camera and a whiteboard. If you can't make it on these dates but still want to be included in the campaign, message me and we'll work out a time for us to photograph you.

Students, staff, faculty, everyone: we want to hear why YOU need feminism. Come out, speak up, and tell the world that UBC is ready for change! Visit our facebook event @ facebook.com/events/213021172170138
